I am delighted to say that the Christmas Hamper was won by the Mauger family, congratulations and enjoy!
Throughout this week each class has led their own Christmas Performance in church.
Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 each performed their own nativity. Year 3 and Year 4 retold the Christmas story. Year 5 and Year 6 shared a lovely explanation of Christmas around the world. Each performance included singing some wonderful songs! I was so proud of all our children and thank you once agin for all your continued support.
Thank you to everyone who was able to come and watch.
Last week, as a school we completed 2,334 laps of the playground, which means we ran 155.6 miles! So not only did we run far enough to reach the London Eye, we also had miles left over to race around the streets of London!
We completed our Santa Dash Run in order to raise money for Kemp Hospice and so far we have raised £230, so please continue to dig deep and donate to the following Just Giving Page. Let's see if we can get to £300 just in time for Christmas!
The children were challenged to create their own 'Soaper Hero' for a national competition. Key Stage 1 had to draw their design, and Key Stage 2 had to draw their design and create their own memorable slogan.
Each Key Stage's entries were judged and we have some school winners - these will then be entered into the national competition to see if anyone wins overall.
Well done to everyone who took part, it was lovely to see so much creativity and imagination!
