Special Educational Needs and Disability Information

SEN at St Ambrose

At St. Ambrose's Catholic Primary School, we believe that every child is important and deserves to feel included and valued in our community. We strive to support each child reach their full potential, recognising that some may need extra assistance due to special educational needs (SEN).

As an inclusive Catholic school, we are dedicated to following the example of Jesus and ensuring that all students, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), are respected, included and supported.

We treat everyone in our community fairly and work to provide equal access and opportunities for all our pupils. Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) plays a key role in supporting students, teachers, and teaching assistants. The SENCO also collaborates with other agencies and ensures that children and parents are actively involved in the support process.
