HALF PRICE THANK YOU BOOK FAIR:

Thank you for supporting our Book Fair this week. We hope you enjoy your new books.

MESSAGE FROM THE PTA:

We are very pleased to announce that the hard work the PTA are doing is paying off. We will be handing over more money towards the library fund to go towards new books for the children. This is another fantastic achievement and further details will follow.

We firstly want to say a huge thank you to the teachers for creating a huge amount of art work to represent the children and the school in the hallways - we also want to say thank you to the children for their time and hard work on this. We hope you like the decorations shown in the hall and in the playground that are on display. These have been donated to St Ambrose and will remain at the School.

The Polar Express event was a huge success; lots of time and effort went into this to pull it off and it was only possible with the help and support from the teachers, parents and children. I'm sure you enjoyed the train sets dotted around for the event and we want to thank the Footplate Train Shop for their support in this. Should anyone want to purchase the Polar Express train set, it's available to buy from the Footplate Train Shop. We also want to say a huge thank you to Santa for dropping in to see the children - the pictures will soon be available to pick up. We owe Miriam a huge thank you for taking the time to take pictures of the special magical moments and her daughter, Isobel, who also assisted with this role. To everyone who assisted on the day we are so greatful to you - I know we keep saying it but, it's only possible with some help from you.

We will be holding a free disco in the New Year for the children of St Ambrose with a free drink and a snack. Further details will follow for this very soon! We also have a Vice Chair position available on the committee. Should you require any further information, please get in touch with us on our Facebook page or come and have a chat with us in the playground. We will be filling this position in January at the PTA meeting to be announced. We will also be sending the children home with a little something on behalf of the PTA.
