Learning Platforms

We use a range of engaging online learning platforms to support children's learning both in school and at home. These platforms provide opportunities to practise important skills regularly, helping children to build confidence, fluency and independence in their learning. We also teach our children how to use technology safely and responsibly, and encourage parents and carers to support children in developing safe and positive online habits when accessing these platforms at home.

NumBots KS1

NumBots is a fun and engaging maths platform designed to help children develop confidence and fluency with number. It supports children in developing key skills including subitising, number bonds, addition and subtraction through short, interactive games.

Children can work through the activities at their own pace, building their understanding and recall as they progress. Regular, short practice helps children develop secure number facts and become increasingly confident mathematicians.

Children can work through interactive Story and Challenge modes, practising little and often at their own pace. Regular practice helps to strengthen number facts and build confidence in maths.

KS1 children are encouraged to use NumBots regularly at home to practise their number skills.

Times Tables Rockstars KS2

Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) helps children develop rapid recall and fluency of their multiplication and division facts. Through fun, game-based activities, children can practise their times tables regularly and build confidence with their mathematical recall.

Children can play individually or take part in challenges and competitions, making regular times-table practice engaging and motivating. Teachers can also monitor children's practice and progress.

KS2 children are encouraged to practise their times tables regularly at home using TTRS.

Spelling Shed KS1 & KS2

Spelling Shed provides children with an engaging way to practise and consolidate their spelling. Through interactive games and activities, children can revisit the spelling patterns and words they are learning in school.

Regular practice helps children to develop spelling accuracy, confidence and recall, while making spelling practice enjoyable and accessible.

Children from KS1 to KS2 can use Spelling Shed to practise their weekly spellings and develop their spelling skills at home.
