Children to read to an adult for at least ten minutes each day. Remember to sign their reading diary on at least five occasions each week.

​Ask your children question's about what they have read, share discussion about characters and make predictions as to what might happen next.

Children will be given spellings to learn, according to their diagnostic spelling result. They will be tested each week.

Children to be encouraged to learn their timetables (up to the 12x) and be able to apply them to inverse operations.

Occasionally, additional topic based homework may be sent home by class teachers.
