Curriculum Workshops

This week, we held our final Curriculum Workshop of the year, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all staff for their commitment and dedication in ensuring that parents and carers are informed about the curriculum and how they can best support their children's learning at home.

Thank you also to the many parents and carers who were able to attend. Your partnership and engagement play a vital role in your child's success. If you attended a session, please take a few moments to complete the feedback questionnaire below, as your views are invaluable in helping us continue to improve these opportunities.

We are now looking forward to welcoming you to Parents' Evening next week. These meetings provide an important opportunity to discuss your child's progress, celebrate their achievements and identify next steps in their learning journey. If you have not yet booked an appointment, please do so via your child's Arbor account at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership with our school. We look forward to seeing you next week.

Harvest Mass Celebration – Friday 16th October

On Friday 16th October, we will gather as a school community to celebrate our Harvest Mass, giving thanks to God for His wonderful creation and for the abundance of the harvest. Harvest is a special time to reflect on the many blessings we receive and to remember those who may be experiencing hardship. It reminds us of the importance of gratitude, generosity and caring for others, living out our Gospel values in action.

As part of our celebrations, we will be collecting donations to support local families and Kidderminster Food Banks. From Monday, children are invited to bring in donations of tins, packets, cereals and other non-perishable food items. Fresh produce may be brought into school from Thursday. To encourage our children's generosity, they will receive one house point for every item donated.

Harvest is also an opportunity for us to come together in thanksgiving and celebration. We warmly welcome parents, carers, family members and friends to join us for this special Mass as we celebrate the gifts of God's creation and the strength of our school community.

We would also like to invite our Reception children to join in the festivities by dressing as scarecrows for the day. We look forward to seeing their wonderful costumes and celebrating together as a school family.

Thank you in advance for your continued support and generosity. Together, we can make a real difference to those in need while giving thanks for all that we have been blessed with.

Please note, we are an allergy aware school, meaning we ask that nuts and products containing nuts are not brought into school in snacks or lunchboxes. This also includes chocolate spreads that may contain nuts. 🌰🚫

These measures help us to keep children with allergies safe and reduce the risk of a serious allergic reaction. Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us to keep our whole school community safe. 💛

Please share this post to help us spread the message! 🐝
