The Jubilee Prayer

Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us
in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity enkindled
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your Kingdom.

May your grace transform us
into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel.
May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos
in the sure expectation
of a new heaven and a new earth,
when, with the powers of Evil vanquished,
your glory will shine eternally.

May the grace of the Jubilee
reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,
a yearning for the treasures of heaven.
May that same grace spread
the joy and peace of our Redeemer
throughout the earth.
To you our God, eternally blessed,
be glory and praise for ever.

Amen

We are kindly asking for donations of any crates and tyres for our reception outdoor area.

Message from Mrs Brocklesby

A big welcome to Mrs Mallinson!
We’re so happy to have her join the Saint Ambrose family this year! Mrs Mallinson will be teaching music at both Saint Ambrose and Saint Wulstan’s, sharing her love of music with children in Years 1–6 every Friday until Christmas.. She’ll be teaching the music curriculum, giving children plenty of exciting opportunities to perform and build their confidence.
We can’t wait to join together for her whole-school musical praise and fill our Fridays with song!

Can we please remind that you should not be parking in the car park at drop off and pick up times unless you have requested and been given a parking pass. Please can you pass this onto any other family members or friends who may also drop off or collect your child.

As you can appreciate, drop off and pick up times are always busy and so to ensure our children's safety we kindly request that you find parking outside of the car park.

The UCM (United Catholic Mothers) meet every other Monday evening at 7pm in term time and would like to extend a warm welcome to anyone who would like to become a member. They play a pivotal role fundraising activities for the Church and also devote their time to helping out at school functions such as school fete, holy communion etc. You wouldn't necessarily have to come to all the meetings but any availability to help out at functions would be very much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Mrs Brocklesby and Mrs Laskey
