Message from Mrs Brocklesby
Yesterday, we were pleased to welcome our School Improvement Partner to school. During their visit, they spent time in classrooms across the school and were delighted to see the positive learning behaviours demonstrated by our children.
The visit highlighted how engaged, enthusiastic, and focused children are in their learning. Pupils were observed working collaboratively, showing resilience when tackling challenges, and demonstrating respect for their peers and staff. Excellent classroom routines and high expectations were evident throughout the school, creating calm and purposeful learning environments where children can thrive.
We are incredibly proud of our pupils, who represented our school so well and showcased the positive attitudes and values that make our school community so special.
Please keep our Year Three children and their families in your prayers as they prepare to celebrate their First Holy Communion tomorrow. This is a truly special and memorable occasion in their faith journey, as they receive the Eucharist for the first time. May it be a day filled with joy, blessings, and the love of God for all who share in this celebration.
Food Bank Donations
Our local food bank has recently put out an appeal for donations. We have a collection basket in school, and any contributions of non-perishable food items or toiletries would be greatly appreciated. Your donations will help support local families who are facing difficult circumstances. Any donations brought in will be taken to the Foodbank on Friday 12th June.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support.
Please see the letter below regarding an event hosted by Disco Daddy, taking place later in the year.
