Message from Mrs Laskey
It was a pleasure to welcome Mrs Horan, the CEO of the Emmaus MAC, alongside the school improvement adviser and RE leaders from across the Emmaus family of schools, to St. Ambrose for a highly productive and inspiring visit. Together, colleagues explored the school environment and enjoyed seeing learning in action across our school. There was a strong sense of purpose and pride throughout classrooms, with pupils fully engaged in their learning. Thank you to staff and pupils for their commitment to excellence. It was a valuable and uplifting opportunity for shared reflection and collaboration.
Loving God,
As we come to the end of this week,
we thank You for all that we have learned, shared, and achieved together.
Thank you for the gifts of friendship, perseverance, and care shown within our school community.
Bless our families, staff, and pupils as we rest and renew over the weekend.
Keep us safe in Your love,
and help us return refreshed and ready to continue our journey of learning and faith.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
NSPCC Number Day – Friday 6th February
Next week we will be taking part in NSPCC Number Day, a fun and engaging way to celebrate maths while supporting the important work of the NSPCC. Number Day helps children see how maths is part of everyday life, while also raising awareness of keeping children safe.
On Friday 6th, children are invited to come to school dressed to represent a number. This could be as simple as wearing a number, creating a homemade number badge, or decorating clothing with a favourite digit. The focus is on creativity and participation rather than expense.
Have a lovely weekend.
