Message from Mrs Brocklesby

Throughout the season of Lent, the children have been thoughtfully preparing for the celebration of Easter. This special time in the Church’s year has given them the opportunity to reflect, pray, and grow in their faith.

As part of their journey, the children took part in a meaningful Mass, coming together as a community in prayer and reflection. They also participated in the Stations of the Cross, where they reverently followed the journey of Jesus, helping them to deepen their understanding of Holy Week.

We are very proud of the children for the respect and thoughtfulness they have shown during these experiences. Their participation has helped them to appreciate the true meaning of Easter and to prepare their hearts for this important celebration.

As we enter Holy Week, we invite all parents and carers to support their children as they continue their journey of faith. This is a very special and reflective time in the Church’s year, and your encouragement at home can make a meaningful difference.

You may wish to take time to talk with your child about the events of Holy Week, join in prayer together, attend Mass as a family. These shared experiences help children to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the true meaning of Easter.

On Good Friday at 12 noon there is the Family Stations of the Cross in Church that everyone is welcomed to attend with their family.

Thank you for your continued support in nurturing the children’s spiritual growth.

We have had a wonderful half term filled with rich experiences for our children. Alongside this, our broad and balanced curriculum continues to provide so many opportunities for learning, and it is always a joy to watch the children grow in confidence and curiosity. As we approach the Easter holidays, we hope this is a special time for families to enjoy being together. I hope everyone has the opportunity to rest and recharge over the break. When we return next term we will continue working hard, so please make sure the children have plenty of rest and are ready for another exciting term of learning.
I wish all of our families a happy and restful Easter break and look

We were delighted today to welcome a very special visitor, the Easter Bunny! The children had the chance to meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy fun activities, and celebrate the season together.

In addition, we held our Easter Raffle which has raised £205 for Father Hudson's Caritas.

Thank you to everyone who joined in the celebrations and supported the raffle.

As a school our Lenten fundraising has been for Father Hudson's Caritas and CAFOD. We are delighted to announce that we have raised £268 for Father Hudson's and £100 for CAFOD. Thank you for everyone's support and well done.
