The Jubilee Prayer

Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us
in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity enkindled
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your Kingdom.

May your grace transform us
into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel.
May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos
in the sure expectation
of a new heaven and a new earth,
when, with the powers of Evil vanquished,
your glory will shine eternally.

May the grace of the Jubilee
reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,
a yearning for the treasures of heaven.
May that same grace spread
the joy and peace of our Redeemer
throughout the earth.
To you our God, eternally blessed,
be glory and praise for ever.

Amen

We would like to kindly ask for any parent/PTA volunteers to help with the following event:

Hot Dogs - Friday 7th November - 2.45pm onwards

Please can you let the school office know if you are able to help.

Thank you for your continued support.

Message from Mrs Laskey

As we reach the end of a busy and vibrant half term, I want to take a moment to reflect on all that’s been achieved. It’s been wonderful to see everyone settling back into school life — a special welcome to all our new children, families, and staff who have joined our community this term. We’re so pleased to have you with us.

Thank you to all who attended the first of our two Parents’ Evenings on Monday. These evenings are a vital part of building strong partnerships between home and school, giving us the chance to celebrate successes, discuss next steps, and ensure every child feels supported in their learning. If you weren’t able to attend this week, we warmly invite you to join us for the second Parents’ Evening on Monday 3rd November. Appointments can be booked via Arbor, and we look forward to welcoming you.

We’re also incredibly grateful for the amazing support shown at our Spooky Bake Off. The creativity (and deliciousness!) on display was truly impressive, and we were overwhelmed by the positive response. We’re thrilled to share that we raised £323.40 — thank you for your generosity! Contestants for future Junior British Bake Off series in the making!

This week, we proudly launched our Pupil Leadership Roles, which play a vital part in shaping our school community. These roles help children develop responsibility, teamwork, and a sense of pride in their school. Our new leaders include:
  • Prayer Leaders – who guide prayer and help nurture our spiritual life
  • Live Simply Ambassadors – who champion sustainability and care for our environment
  • House Captains – who inspire and support their house teams in school events and challenges
  • Sports Captains – who promote physical activity and help lead PE and sports events
  • Reading Ambassadors – who encourage a love of reading across the school
We’re so proud of all the pupils who put themselves forward and look forward to seeing them flourish in their new roles.

Wishing all our families a restful and happy half term break — we look forward to seeing you refreshed and ready for the next half term!
🎃 Spooky Bake Off Thank You! ðŸŽƒ

A huge thank you from the PTA to everyone who took part — whether by baking or donating — to make the Spooky Bake Off such a success! The designs of the spooky cakes were absolutely fabulous, showcasing so much creativity.
Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, we raised an amazing £323.40! Every penny will go towards supporting our school and enriching the experiences we provide for our pupils.
We’re so grateful for the wonderful sense of community that makes events like this possible. Thank you to all the parent helpers who helped with the selling after school and thank you once again for your kindness and continued support — we couldn’t have done it without you!

Can we please remind that you should not be parking in the car park at drop off and pick up times unless you have requested and been given a parking pass. Please can you pass this onto any other family members or friends who may also drop off or collect your child.

As you can appreciate, drop off and pick up times are always busy and so to ensure our children's safety we kindly request that you find parking outside of the car park.

The UCM (United Catholic Mothers) meet every other Monday evening at 7pm in term time and would like to extend a warm welcome to anyone who would like to become a member. They play a pivotal role fundraising activities for the Church and also devote their time to helping out at school functions such as school fete, holy communion etc. You wouldn't necessarily have to come to all the meetings but any availability to help out at functions would be very much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Mrs Brocklesby and Mrs Laskey
