Message from Mrs Laskey

Our recent Wellbeing Wednesday was a joyful celebration, as children came to school dressed as their favourite hobbies. The hall during Musical Praise was a wonderful array of colour and creativity—dance costumes twirled alongside karate uniforms, while Brownies, Guides, and Scouts stood proudly in their groups. We also saw budding bakers, artists, footballers, musicians, gardeners, cyclists, and even a few future engineers and authors. It was a fantastic way for children to share what brings them joy and helps them thrive beyond the classroom.
Thank you to all families for your support in making the day such a success. At our school, we recognise the importance of nurturing the wellbeing of every child—encouraging them to express themselves, celebrate their interests, and feel valued as individuals.
Our next Wellbeing Wednesday will take place on Wednesday 20th May and will focus on vocation, with the theme: “What is God calling us to be?” As well as continuing to develop kind hearts, questioning minds, a thirst for knowledge, and a hunger for justice, we invite children to come to school dressed in aspiration of a future vocation. This is an opportunity to inspire them to think about their gifts, talents, and the ways they can make a difference in the world.
We look forward to another meaningful and inspiring day together.
