Message from Mrs Laskey

It has been wonderful to see our school filled with happy faces and a strong enthusiasm for learning as the term continues. Our children have been busy engaging in a wide range of classroom activities, developing their reading, writing, and numeracy skills, and learning how to work cooperatively with their classmates. It is always encouraging to see children showing kindness, curiosity, and a willingness to try their best.
Our teachers and support staff continue to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels safe, valued, and supported. Through daily routines and learning experiences, students are encouraged to build confidence, resilience, and a love of learning that will support them throughout their schooling.

We are grateful for the ongoing support from our families, whether it be helping with homework, reinforcing positive behaviours, or simply talking with children about their school day. This term there will be Parents' Evenings that will take place on Monday 9th February and Wednesday 25th February where you will have another opportunity to meet with Class Teachers and discuss your child's progress. You will receive an email regarding this and booking information next week.
As we move forward, we encourage the children to continue showing respect, responsibility, and care for one another.

There will be no teapot time on Tuesday 27th January.

Puss in Boots is a performance by 'The Monday Night Group' amateur dramatics society. They are a registered charity and all money raised for their performances go back into the local community.

We are very pleased and proud to announce that this year's cast includes our very own Mr Holman who plays the part of King Basil! Oh yes he is!!

It would be a wonderful opportunity for a great family night out and for our school community to support him.
